This year I bred a pastel male to a LTC (3.5yrs) axanthic female.
I didn't have high hopes...she was a little underweight (not
the best of eaters...), had a weak ovulation, and when I palpated
her I thought maybe I felt a few slugs inside. Well, she gave
me 5 good eggs tonight! She was just under 1600g before laying.
55+/- days and counting...
