Ok, my lil' brother has had his hog for awhile now, but for some reason it just stopped eating. It's gotten really angry and faux strikes at everything.It's only like 7 inches maybe aand she's eating live mice(which I would like to change). Is this common(her stop eating)? Any suggestions on starting her back up? And even though this has probably been asked before, how would i switch her from live to f/t? Also as a side note could I scent a f/t pinkie with an adult bullfrog? How would I do that(yeah I'm lame, I don't know what scenting is)? Anyway thanks in advance.

P.S. This is what the alphabet would look like if Q and R were missing (God, I love Mitch Hedberg)

It is totally common for hogs to stop feeding at times. Mine will sometimes do it, usually when their is a chill in the air. With all the different snakes that I have owned now and in the past, this has got to be one of the finickiest snakes that I have ever owned. Give your snake time, it will eat again.

As far as giving your snake fresh thawed meals, give it time. The way mine got into pre killed, was to just keep trying until the snake finally started eating.

If you haven’t been scenting your mice, don’t start. In past experiences, this has lead to a continual scenting problem for me.

Just give your snake time; maybe try turning the heat up a little. These snakes will stop eating from time to time and who knows why?

Good Luck;
Jason Mc
