My male-he's a sweety -he doesn't bite. ^_^ has been literally breaking out of his cage all week-and he never did this before-and I still can't imagine how he's getting out- the cage is still locked down tight (!!!)---luckily I "snake proofed" the room-he can't get out of that!!
Anyway it occurred to me that it's breeding season-that's all he wanted. Sigh-more baby rats... ^_^ Thank god I love Greenish Rats but I'm not sure where I'm gonna put more of them!!
I know the feeling. I've got a BUNCH of yearlings left and its about time for my pair to go at it again...Nice to see some of the babies starting to color-up a bit though...looks like some are going to be a bit like big daddy.

I don't currently have an pics of my yearlings, as I haven't been able to afford a new camera to replace mine that got swiped last year. As far as size, my breeder male is around six feet and I've seen ones over seven. But on average I'd say five to six feet.
