BP eating

alarison Apr 15, 2005 09:15 AM

my BP has not been eating so I took him to our vet and he said tot ry something smaller and if he still is not eating in 7-10 days bring him back and they will give him a series of shots that are like $6/each that will stimulate him to eat. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks in advance.

How old is the bp? How long have you had it? They do go on fast so your animal may be fasting now. Make sure the environment is up to par (temps, humidity, hide, etc) as this can also contribute to your animal not feeding due.

The medicine "might" be flagyl as this medicine is reported to cause an increase in appetite.

Hope this helps.
