Are rodents the food of choice for BRP'S? Can you deviate from rodents to birds to hamsters etc....????

If you look down a few threads you'll see one about this. Mice and rats are really cheep compared to other food items and they do just fine on them, also rodents make up the largest portion of their diet in the wild.

I don't care if the glass is half full or half empty !
I just want the full glass I paid for !

You can, but I don't see the advantage. Hamsters are more expensive and harder to come by. Not only that but you run the risk of the snake developing a "taste" for the more expensive harder to come by entree. Mom says rats are good food. Cheap, easy to come by....that's my advise.
