I see you have the utilitarian mode of turtle pen building. I used to do the same, but now we bought this new house on a blank 2 acre lot and all the landscaping and pen projects have to be pretty looking (she did let me build plywood pens for a year, the ones I'm working on replacing now). Now I've got to spend twice as much time, and a bit of extra money, making sure everything is not only functional, but pretty enough to satisfy the wife.
