my beardie tried escaping his tank last night as I watched...no, he cannot get out, I just so enjoy every new behavior... I will have to figure out a way to secure his screen tops soon though as I'll be adding to his decor and then escape could be possible...

btw, what are some good plants that I could grow to put in his tank that are safe and edible???

Any plant that is safe and edible, will be eaten in a very short while. Safe plants, (both edible and otherwise) can be found at the following website, under the nutitian guide

Quick thought, double check your temps. Your BD might be trying to get to a cool area. It might not be, I have no idea wut your set-up is, but better safe than sorry. just lookin out for my fellow herpers. ya kno?
