well, sometimes my lizards don't sleep in their hide spots. it's really warm here so i have screen cages and sometimes they sleep hanging onto the side of the cage. just watch him tomorrow and see if he is acting funny, like if he is breathing hard or has gooey eyes or nose. they just like to feel safe and perhaps he feels safe everywhere in his cage. or the lights went out and he was too lazy to move. hopefully he is ok and just messing with you

Like being real sluggish, or appears to have difficulty breathing. Examine that he looks alright.

I hope he was just lazy after running around all day and felt safe enough to fall asleep out in the open.

Yea it seemed to be nothing sry everyone just looking out.

But I am concerend on something with him like for instince cricket gutload I am stil lworking that out. Also I have e-mailed some people about him and got some feedback. But I am worried about my collard lizard becuase he is farm raised so what he does is he goes to the left front corner of my emclosure and he starts scratching and jumpign and trying to get out and he has been doing this since the day I got him.I am going to try to do all I can to fix this like add thigns to his enclosure but I need some suggestions also I wanna start using a dripper on a rock but I need to get a large rock that wont fall and is flat enough.Let me know what I CAN ADD or remove here is the link to a picture of my closure i have 3 garden rock barires that are super glued but and I tried to make that a hide but that didnt work out he dosent want to go into it and I removed the branch b/c crix were getting into it so let me know thanks!

what you need are just two nice rock piles on each side.

i dont know where you live but i would bet that somewhere there is a rock quarry/rock fill supply yard. if you are near any suburbs there is one nearby i am sure. if you do get rocks get a good variety. they dont all have to be flat. yes flat rocks are good for basking but i find that collareds also like to dart in and out under the basking sites and climb vertical rocks. i always take one large flat rock and put it sideways in the cage. they love to be king of the mountain.

if you have a good printer you can make a background poster on regular paper but it may cost you a bit to laminate it. if you want i can tell you how to do this sometime.

heres an old pic i have of one of my cages.
