Help with finding anery or snow sand boas?

dragomlover Apr 15, 2005 09:24 PM

Hi
I recently owned a pet anery sand boa named Moomoo(im sure you can guess why I named her that) Well Moomoo is no longer with us because my cat thought it would be fun to take off her lid and play with her. None the less I am looking for another sand boa but I don't know for sure if I should get another anery(being the fact that moomoo only died about 4 days ago) so I am thinking about getting a snow. I just have no good information on them. I have no idea what an average price would be or even where to find a nice one. I am looking for one with little to no black spots and I am aware that will cost me. I only payed 65 for my anery but I don't even know if that was a good price. If anybody has any information for me it would help me out a lot. Thankx

The classifieds here are great. I am not sure if thats what you meant. Right now not that many to pick from but a month or two full of great sand boas.
Here is link

I use those metal clips for the screen its impossible for your cat to get lid off with those. Use 4 one on each corner if your cat has access to the tank.

Yes I check the sand boa classifieds everyday. But what I am looking for is like breeder of mainly snow sand boas. Or where I can find one that is for sale right now. Thank you for your help though.

Hey, I might have some snow kenyans but not til fall or spring. Other wise I will have more normals anyday now.

Also, a good place to check is http://www.faunaclassifieds.com

P.S. $65 for an "anery" isn't bad. A snow will probably be around $200-400. Let me know if you need anymore help.

I don't really know anyone using snow pairs right now. Most have het parents. I had a baby snow, but it was stillborn . You might also look into albinos. They run a bit cheeper than snows by about $50-100. Search both the classifieds that have been suggested to you. Good deals can be found, it just takes time.

Also, don't discount normals. I have yet to see an "ugly" colored sand boa.

Thanks and I will keep looking. I just wanted a show because I love the all white look and I was never interested in albinos because there eyes look werid. Thanks
