Hi everyone

Spring time is definitely in the herp room air the past couple of weeks. I’m really hoping to see some big babies from my Stillwaters again this year and my stud Stillwater male really knows how to please his herper, hehe. Just look on how eager he is to do it! You just got to love him. This is the first time I have witnessed this biting breeding behavior with my bullsnakes so I decided to take a pic. He’s breeding with a first timer in this pic and has also been breeding with her long time mate the last 2 weeks. Whoooohoooo!!! LOL.

I just wanted to share the joy.

Those are really unbelievable looking snakes Jonel, congrats on what looks like another good year with them! The colors are just great. Thanks for the pics and updates.

Man, when you get tired of such "ugly" snakes you can always send them to me!!!! LOL!!!! This pair is outstanding. Love those Stillwaters!!!

Man that male looks like a prehistoric serpent , just killer snake and pics .Thats why I visit this forum pics like that .

Thanks for the compliment. I'm actually planning to breed this animal to a red bull so the red, orange, and yellow colors would intesify more. I'm also planning to breed the Stillwater x Kingsville Hypo male that I got from Shannon (like yours) to this female to get some nice multiple hets. Some nice little projects down the road.

The lineaticollis is growing quite nicely. The male was the one pictured but the female is bigger than him but she was in blue when I was taking a pic.

I can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!! hehe.

Great shots and great looking critters. I think all of our Pines, Bulls, and Sonorans exhibit the "bite bondage" behavior. My corns have never done that, but I know some corns have been known to do it.

I've seen the biting behaviors mostly in my kings and milks. I've seen eveidence of the behavior in my pituophis but have not actually witnessed it happening and I've been breeding these guys for 3 years. So it's really nice I get to witness the bahavior for the first time a week ago. Btw, good luck with your projects. Take care.
