Can I Put A Mother Rat And Her Babies In A Clear Sterilite Box......more.....

The sterilite box is 21 x 14 x 6 inches high, can that hold a mother rat and her babies???. Thanks Scott Glover

As long as she cant jump out of the topit ashould be ok......but you also have to maksure she can not tip it over from leaning up on it from the inside.....

Also make sure there are no edges for her to bite/chew on, or else you will have a loose rat...

it will need a secure lid, a mother rat can get out of a 6" high container easily, on their hind legs, a rat can easily grab the edge of the container and jump up. Mine can get out of a 16" high sterlite container without much effort

one more question can I put her and her babies in a cage 12 x 16 x 7 inches high or is that to small???. Thanks Scott Glover
