Even better news about the beardie mentioned in previous posts!..Please read!

Okay, first off I would like to thank everyone who replied to my previous posts about my neighbors sick beardie. It helped alot. Second I have better news, I believe I have talked him into giving me the beardie. It seems the lady who is nursing her back to health told my neighbor the requirements for the dragon and all that's needed after she's well enough to come home they freaked out. They are ready to give the beardie away. This made me mad at first but I think it's the best thing for the beardie, especially if I get it..then I can monitor it's care and make sure she's getting evrything she needs to be a happy and healthy Bearded Dragon. Also, I'm trying to learn as much as I can about Beardies (since I don't currently own one) in a short amount of time since I might get her on tues. It would really help alot of you could post any links you've found helpful for beardie owners. (ie: cheap cage sites, caresheets, nutritional info etc.) Any pointers would help alot also. I have room but I really need a bigger tank. She was housed in a 20gal long when she was at my neighbors house. I just wanted to let you guys know and get any info you have...I have alot of research to do! I'm happy though, I just hope I can give this lil lizard the best home she can possibly have . Thanks again!

I'm so glad to hear that you might get the beardie, they are wonderful and you will really enjoy her.I am a new beardie owner myself but have found some good caresheets and nutrition pages. If you can't buy a bigger aquarium then you can always make a wood and screen cage, they don't hold heat as well but are quite alot cheaper then a class cage.

Thanks for the links. They helped. I'm almost positive I'll be getting the beardie so I'm taking my foot of the gas pedal for a while with my gecko project since this beardie needs alot of care. Any more help is appreciated.
