Do NOT self medicate. Reptiles, especially babies can be very sensitive to anti-biotics. Also you vet may opt for injectable anti-biotics as well. Anti-biotics need to be dosed according to a calculation involving your beardies weight. If you choose to try and medicate your beardie yourself you will risk his life.
Look up a qualified herp vet (vets with no reptile experience can be almost no better to your animal than you would be self medicating. They try, but reptiles are very different from any other animals they have experience with.) in your area and set up an appointment. Bring a fecal sample in to check for parasites. The vet will give your beardie a pysical and decide which anti-biotic to use, how much of it to use, for how long, and by what method.
Good luck with everything, keep us posted!
