feeding in separate tank...

i have recently read on here about using containers such as shoe box's ect. to feed the bp in...i use a 10 gallon fish tank with a lid...is this ok or could this be a problem with him not eating....thanks all

If you handle your snakes on a regular basis then you could feed them in their enclosure. I have never fed my snakes in a separate container and they have never missed a meal. IMO they could be getting stressed (Intimidated) from being moved at feeding time. If you are worried about your snakes striking at you as a feeding response when you want to hold them keep in mind the more you hold them the less they will think you are food.
