The New Generation Of Jaguar Morphs!!!!

jaguarpython.com Jul 10, 2003 04:29 PM

Here is a photo of some babies ( two days old and before their first
shed ) produced by the Red Hypo Jaguar pair : one Red Hypo Jaguar,
one Banded SUPER Red Hypo Jaguar and a normal Hypo-Ghost sib.
The last two have red tongues.
I also produced a Red Hypo Jaguar from the same clutch with a yellowish background color ( right out of the egg ! ). This specimen also
has a red tongue, unlike all the other Jaguars with blue tongues.

None of the other Jaguar to Jaguar breedings resulted in similar
morphs.

Are you saying that that snake is a super jag, or are you just saying it's super red? These jag genetics don't seem to make too much sense to me.

The Jaguar genetics confuses me as well.
Over half of the Hypo Jag to Hypo Jag eggs ( both phases ) were
unfertile, but I still produced these weird looking new morphs and
the most spectacular in my opinion was the Banded Red Hypo with
no dark pigment and such a light color and not least a red tongue. This was the only one from the Red Hypo line that could
possibly be a SUPER in my opinion. Of course, it would have helped
some if the whole clutch would have hatched in order to see the
correct % of each new morph etc. and to compare these.
Hopefully, I will succeed in doing so next year.
