2nd Clutch of IJCP is hatching!!!

JDouglas Apr 17, 2005 12:14 AM

All six pipped. I can't even beleive it. Some of these eggs were so dented and molded that I was shocked to see little heads poking out! I mean, they were half the size of the other eggs that hatched. They looked horrible for the last 3 weeks. Check out the bottom of this egg! If you looking closely you can see what is inside!

I was even more surprised to see that one was completely out of the egg. Some of you may remember that half the babies from this pair last year were really red as hatchlings. This one was a SUPER LIGHT RED baby similar to last years females. Sure enough it is a female!

Last year all of them from this pair had some striping or connected pattern and I was pleased to see that she is banded.

Here she is...

So what do ya think of her?

I am so thankful all six were good. I needed some good luck after having a string of bad luck.

Here is a pic of her next to the darkest female from the other clutch. They are so different...

Its craaazzzy!!!! WOO HOOO! Here is another one...

Jeremy,

OK, I went to your website and low and behold - you are keeping all those beautiful IJ/WP hatchlings as holdbacks!!! I rushed to your website to see if one of the bright red specimens was still available. Man, you broke my heart, lol.

Best of luck this year,
Todd G.

Actually I'm selling all of this clutch except for one pair. I had two clutches this year and I am keeping all of the other clutch. Shoot me an email if you would like to be added to the waiting list.
