Gulf coast box turtle

CanI keep a gulf coast box turtle outside all winter in NJ? I would think not since they don't come form a enviroment that gets below zero degrees.

I would say no, for the reason you yourself mentioned. Why chance it.

no, a gulf coast should not be kept out during winter in such a northern latitude. winters in the areas of their native range are much milder and higher humidity during that time.
