Malagasy Giant temps

c&f Apr 17, 2005 09:29 AM

Hognose.com seems to be down, and there's not alot of specific info on these guys on the rest of the net, so i was hoping some of you might be able to give me the appropriate temp ranges for the giant hogs. I believe they like to be a bit warmer than than the US hogs 75-88?

I picked up a male 3.5lbs that's a real beauty, and i want to make sure the already warm room he's in will be warm enough, or if i'll need to heat him till summer finally kicks in here in New England!

Thanx

Hognose.com has gone belly up. It might be for sale or something, but it's no longer active. Albinohognose.com and easternhognose.com are good resources, Eastern probably isnt active yet I think, but is in the works.
Just wanted to FYI you, sorry but Im no help on Madagascar husbandry. I'd like to find some CB babies myself someday.

Thanx for the info. Its very unfortunate to lose such a good site. Hopefully it will come back some time.
