A fully grown beardie needs at least a 75 gallon tank. My suggestion to cut down on the cost would be to get a 75 gallon tank and section it off to about the size of a 20 gallon until your beardie out grows it and keep making it a little bigger as your beardie grows. If I knew then what I do now then I wouldn't have been panicing to try to find another enclosure for one of my two recently. I really suggest doing as much research as you can before getting one because I took mine without knowing anything about them. I assumed that the person I got mine from knew what they were doing when I took them but they knew less than I did but thankfully for me and my beardies I had a lot of help from some very knowledgeable people and this forum.

at the very least use a 55 gallon but 75 gallon is preferred. check the nearest tropical fish store, sometimes they sell leakers at a discount price. i got a 75 from a plce near me for $50 and it looked perfect just leaks water.
