Heat/Light Question

cammyleon Apr 17, 2005 09:59 PM

I have a 10 gallon aquarium with half screen half glass top, and plan on getting an anole. I have eco-soil as subsrate and 5 live plants. What type of light and what wattage should I use? I think the basking pot should be 85-92, ambient should be around 80, and a cool side of 75. Is this right? Thanks.

You got it! You will also need a fluorescent UVB fixture and bulb. The wattage of the incandescent will depend on the distance from the basking spot and the ambient room temperature.
