i just got a new blue phase wtf and i put some crix in his tank he went for it and missed.he got the paper towel and didnt let go till i touched him.what in the world is he do'n?

A WTF eats using the following process:
1) See food
2) Close eyes
3) Open mouth
4) Lunge
5) Consume whatever lands in mouth
If I hand feed my WTF, he also tries to take a finger with the food. If there's a little bit of dried leaf in the food bowl, he'll take that with the worms.
Your guy is just trying to eat the cricket and whatever comes with it. If my guy consumes a piece of moss with a worm, he spits it out. Eventually.
