Do monitors get very stressed when you move things in their enclosure for a while, to clean for example or look for some excrements?

My BT is just fine when I rearrange his cage. He comes out almost every day to play & explore the house, and doesn't seem to mind the "new" cage. he doesn't re-explore it, eats just fine after being taken out and put back in, and acts normal.

However, it may stress out an animal that is not handled often, or one who makes a big deal (hissing, getting upset) when he or she comes out.
