keeping blood pythons together

is it possible to house two snakes (male and female) together?

Well yes, it is ok to do so..if you are planning on breeding the two snakes though, and that is not for more than a short period of time. Other than that they should be housed together, too many things can go wrong when housing two snakes together, even if they are the same species and such.

thanks very much - I am buying a pair of Borneo Bloods, that are 2004 hatchlings - I do eventually plan on breeding, but was wondering if they could be kept together - I've not kept snakes together before, however have seen a number of pyhton species housed communally - I shall take your advice though and keep them separate until they have grown a bit and look like they may be interested in each other.
