>>I have a gravid Kingsnake and she will be ready to lay soon. My concern is how to incubate the eggs and how to maintain the proper tempartures. I live in NY and the weather is warming up but no way near enough to incubate eggs on their own. The room temps in my house is also rather cold, usually in the 60s.(Brr I hate the cold). Turning up the thermostat is not an option since I dont pay the bill and there is no warm room I can utilize.

Drew,
A little trick I did last year. First put them in a tupperware, glad ware, sterilite or similar container with moist spahgnum moss or vermiculite.
Now, do you have a VCR on top of a TV in the house?
Just place the container on top of the VCR. You would be surprised how well they will maintain a decent temperature on top of a VCR.
My egg containers maintained a a temperature gradient from 78 to 83. Never saw them get below 78 or above 83. Worked quite well.
Another option would be on top of the refrigerator.
Heat rises and the refrigerator generates heat "outside" while cooling "inside".
