Feeding questions. Everyone, please give your suggestions & experiences.

Hi guys

I am always doubtful on how much & how often to feed my corn snakes. All the different sources suggest all the different info, so I thought I’d ask some real people, real experts. I understand that each and every snake is different, so guidelines will be very basic, just your opinions.

How often would you feed 03 male & female (approx. weight 120-160 g) that you plan to breed the next year spring?

How often would you feed females breeding this year (before they go off feed & egg laying begins)?

How often would you feed adult males?

If you can also suggest how many appropriate sized mice, please do.

I am only looking for your personal suggestions based on experiences, so please don’t hesitate to speak out.

Thank you so much in advance.

I make it very simple.
I feed all of my snakes once a week.
I feed one of whichever size until they are large enough to take a second. When they get to the size where two do not leave a noticeable bulge I will move them up to the next size.
for example...the hatchlings will get one pinkie a week until they can take two. They will then get two pinkies a week until they can take three at which time I will move them up to one fuzzie a week until they can take two..etc
With my adults I only feed one adult mouse a week.
After brumation I did try alternating with my females. One week an adult, the next week an adult and hopper, the next an adult, adult and hopper, you see where I am going with this....
