Denver Breeders/Rep stores...

graciascott Apr 18, 2005 12:28 PM

I'll be in Denver for several days (4/20-4/23), and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any breeders or Reptile stores in the area.

Thanks for your time,

Scott

pro close their show room but you wheren't missing much. there are three scales and tails reptile stores ( south broadway, wadsworth and 20th and one one 104th.) 104 th is the better of three. there is another store caled reptilen heaqvn on 44th that does lots of lizards. there are a few breeders hidding around denver and the springs. just depends what your looking for.

Sorry to hear that.

I'll check out the one on 104th...

...as far as what i'm looking for, I need a female breeder (normal) for next year. She does not need to be breeding size now, but does by next year.

I just got back "into" reps after about 8 years off and have purchased several higher $$ animals from Frank Martin. I then decided that I had better get some "pratice" in before they are ready to breed in a couple years. I need to be sure my setup is correct before breeding the Tri. hets.

Are you in Denver, Micah??

Thanks for your response.

...Any "smaller" breeders out there?? I'd LOVE to come see what you've got!

Thanks,

Scott

shoot me in email and I will see who i can track down for you there are about 40 small breeders in the denver to colorado springs area but most do breaders and geckos or corn and such. there are a few boa and ball guys hanging around. if your looking for a big female boa ask for Rich when you go into scales and tails on 104th he runs the three stores for the most part and can track one down for you. (they usal have one or two big boas)

Scales 'n Tails has always had a big normal female boa whenever I've dropped in. But if by chance they don't have a normal for you the last reply was a good one, the owner of all the scales 'n tails is very useful and can most likley help you out. I know he's always helped me out in the past when I needed something. I also, heard of a breeder from Mile High Herps you might want to look up, they might also be of use, and also have a website. Good luck in your journey!
