Digging Female

GuyontheCouch Apr 18, 2005 12:44 PM

Hey All,

I have an African Fat Tail Gecko (Male) and a female Leopard Gecko in a 20 gallon long tank. They both get along real well. A couple of days ago the Leopard Gecko started digging holes in the substrate in random places. I picked her up and she does not seem pregnant so I guess im just wondering why she is doing this. She has never done this before although I have not had her very long (4-5 months) and was also wondering if it would even be possible for her to breed with the fat tail. Any info would be appreciated

Leos tend to dig. My gravid female has started to do so excessivly, but my brother's leo digs all the time. He is male, so he could'nt be gravid, could he? XD

I very highly doubt you could breed a fatty and a leo together. If that are in teh same tank, if they were going to, they probably already have.
