feeding question

bloodroses19 Apr 18, 2005 01:59 PM

everyone tells me something different. before we got the burm the previous owner was feeding 4 large rats every 2 weeks. and said she was due to be feed so we went out and got 4 large rats and she ate them really fast. a week later she looked like she was searching for food and getting a little agravated. so we went and got her 2 med rats. we were thinking of feeding her 2 rats once a week. is that to much or too little? she is 9 foot and looks a pretty healty weight. thanks for any replies.

Yea it is definately time for rabbits. I say you should switch him/her over to a 4-5 lb rabbit every 2 weeks or a 2-3 lb rabbit every week.

I'd say a 5 lb rabbit is too much for a 9 ft burm, try2-3 lbs and see how he takes it.

5lbs to me sounds like a bit too large for his current size. Give him a couple more feet and then jump it.

yeah 2-3lbs is good for 9 footer
