white liquid stuff

kailin120288 Apr 18, 2005 04:40 PM

I took my dragon out to hold her and after about 10 min this white liquid stuff came out of her but so i thought she was starting to pooop and ran to put her in her cage. I checked a few minutes later and there was no poop. Anyone have any ideas of what it could be?

Well she didn't go number 2 on you (whew!) but it sounds like a healthy #1!

Urates are usually a white chalky solid, not typically a white liquid. Though clear liquid is often present in the end product, I never seen it being white or milky. Are you sure your dragon is female?

Urates can be soft or moist when first being discharged. They will harden and turn chalky quickly after. Most of the time it seems that mine will discharge both at the same time but I always find lone urates left in the cage.
