odd Stool

ecb Apr 18, 2005 08:52 PM

New BP
did not eat for almost a month
Finally took a FT (what he was on before)
3 days later I found a Wet Stool, very soft on the outside, runny even
but firmer on the inside
Urates were there
Stool smelled Foul
Got some for the lab to check, but it dried out
he ate again, seems to be healthy
Drinks water, Hides, but moves from end to end

Any Thoughts?

First question......is it a wild caught? Once in a while, after not having eaten for some time, mine will pass a small runny stool. But these have been with me for 12 years. It may be nothing, BUT it generally signifies internal parasites. I would get a fecal done, just to be safe. The foul oder( why does that word not look right :|) is also a telltale sign. Hope this helps.
