alright i've tried literally everything i've ever heard to try and get my dumeril to eat rats except feeding live which i really don't want to do. I have had zero luck and was wondering what will happen if i can't get her to feed on rats. i figure she'll out grow mice. does anyone have adults that don't eat rats and what are some of my options?

Feed it a live rat, then progress to fresh killed, then frozen thawed. You've asked this question several times, why are you so dead set on not feeding live? I explained in my last reply to you some steps to take to prevent any harm to your snake. If you've tried everything else, and refuse to feed a live rat to kick things off...stick with mice.

I am having the same problem... They will eventually switch to rats, but like you were told, you will probably have to start with live and switch to PK and then Frozen. And you basically cant just give up every feeding it refuses to take a rat and give in and give it a mouse... IF it is hungry enough, it will take a rat.
