Yay! My first eggs!

Gabriev Apr 18, 2005 10:18 PM

My female leo who wasn't eating anything was indeed fasting before she laid. I got two eggs, and they're a lot bigger then I thought. I have them in an incubater. They feel sorta like marshmallows with goop inside. I'd like to candle them, but the gecko laid them in coconut fiber, and the eggs are all dirty...would it be okay to wash some dirt off?

Congrats on the eggs! If you wait about a week or two and put a small flashlight or candleing light up to the top or side of the egg it will glow pink through the coconut fiber so you don't have to wash the eggs off.
