head size

mjf Apr 19, 2005 03:58 AM

It seems as though the heads on burms are smaller than generations ago.......I can remember around 15 years ago I thought burms had wide spade shaped `shovelheads`...now they look narrower I think, if its not my imagination, I hypothesize that its from the inbreeding necessary to express recessive traits......?

I think it's your imagination...my wild caught burm's head doesn't seem any different than any other burm I've seen.

there is a thread on head size a page or so back...maybe from March?
Check it out. Maybe it's not your imagination.
