Sins 1994 iv been keeping this specie, I started out with Sorong type, then acquired a few Merauke then sulaweti and Jayapura. They are one of the tough specie and easy to get eggs from. As iv said before my crocs get a 6by6by6feet enclosure each, this= 12by6by6 feet per pair, iv tried larger but it wasn’t efficient (energy wise) and no my cages are not wire meshed as stated, they only have partitions made this way. Croc’s are arboreal and have evolved to make full use of appropriate size branches, there thoracic cage, legs and tail are designed for this (not flat ply boards) they are very secretive and need tight fitting retreats. They have other needs witch I will not address. If an individual can’t understand the very basic needs of this specie, perhaps he shouldn’t keep them. All in all I do not recommend them as captives, they have special needs that most keepers can’t handle, Also they represent a threat to your right to keep exotics. Personally I do not care if this hubby becomes heavily Regulated, ARBORIAL INTERNATIONAL was created as a genetic bank not a pet supplier. However you can protect this hubby with common sense, mass producing such a potentially dangerous monitor is not a good idea.
Just my opinion

Heres a hindend view of crocs mating. hmmmmmmmmmm must have come in gravid. But I raised them from young ones, hahahahahahaha. I guess they can be gravid as young ones and lay eggs a few years later,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, not.

I have pics of them mating in dead trees(up) on the ground, in cages, and on artificial rocks(this pic)

I wonder if hes going to show us a stack of croc monitors, that would be very interesting to see. FR

Hi Steeve!
Nice pics, nice subject...The top salvadorii
First of all, everybody should knows i have a pair of crocs from a guy. This guy told me everything about the temperament, needs, behavior and danger of those "pet", as some call them here. He told: me i bet you will call me in less then 2 year to tell me you been hurt or you don't want them anymore. He warned me about the potential danger of those top predator.
I asked this guy what was the minimum size for a croc enclosure, this guy told me i recommend you 2 enclosure 6X6 side by side with a trap to make a 6X12 when you(they) will be ready for breeding but if you are very confine with space you could put them in a 4X6 for a while. This guy told me all i need to know from someone, he told me i will learn with lessons, mistake and experience. Then one day, this guy stop answering to all my stupid question about this and that...
Then, i learned something.Thank's guy, by doing this you started my sence of learning by looking at the monitor in my house, not my pc monitor
This guy formed me as good as he can and now it was my responsability to do and learn the rest.
No one can do know or even imagine what is to live with adult crocs, not a 6 foot with a baby weight, an adult, as long as you owned them adult. How much of you, have deal on a daly basis with adult crocs before judging and doubting what jobi said? Lots of people here give advice here but only a few know what they are talking about
Thank's Steeve you are this guy!
Sorry for but i will not reply to all the ti-joe comment... i lost my english-french dictionnary alors salut et bonne soirée!
