wondering about everyone's supplementation for the youngin's

bd boy (I am thinking of calling him Darwin, but nothing definite yet) is about 2 1/2 months old and doing great. I am currently dusting w/ Rep-Cal/d3 every feeding, and herptivite every other day but only at one feeding. I offer him crickets in his bowl twice a day which seems to suffice, as he leaves some behind from the second feeding.

So, just curious if I am doing OK. It's been so long since I had a little tyke in the house

Everything sounds good,I use just about the same schedual for calcium/vits as you do. Do you offer BD boy any greens? I know as young as he is he probably won't eat much if any,but you should still offer some. I give my 4 weekd old baby fresh greens every morning along with his bugs, sometimes he nibbles at them, sometimes not.

thanks for the reply - I figured someone else had baby beardies! lol

I make a finely chopped (actually it is food processed quite fine, almost slurry-like) veggie mash for the small crickets wet gutload and if I put some on my finger he will sometimes lick it off. I keep some in a dish if he is interested and also food for any escaped crickets. He will also take bits of kale and dandelion greens from my fingers! He loves to be misted (weird?) and will drink from a dropper so he gets his moisture.

thanks again,
lele
