Never posted here before, but I'm going to give posting a pic a shot. Got this king from a 13 yr. kid and he didn't know what it was. I was thinking gray banded, but also thought mex-mex. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Tom

Yeah, kind of looks like a gray banded just a little different. Maybe a thayeri. Not sure. Im sure someone else here will know for sure soon enough.

I know gray bands can be catagorized by locality is this the same with mexicana's. I can't find any pics that look like this one. I found similar one's, but not close enough..Thankyou
...and the mexicana kingsnake sub-forum. You'll see all you want there. Look for mex mex.
Originally collected in the area of San Luis Potosi, all are from cb stock these days.

This is definately a grey-banded kingsnake! He looks great. Take good care of him.
