For those who use maternal incubation

jmartin104 Apr 19, 2005 08:19 PM

I have a few questions:

1) What maintenance do you perform? Misting?
2) Does your location require anything special? For example, if you live in a dry environment, does it affect the eggs?
3) What substrate do you use?
4) Problems you've encountered.
5) What type of enclosure do you use? Rack?
6) Anything else you would like to add.

I don`t know if you remember Rob Carmichael. He used maternal incubation several years ago with great success. He does not breed his females every year as many breeders do so a speedy "recovery" was not his goal. Here is the link to his Maternal Incubation Page. I am sure if you have more questions he would be happy to answer them.

Hope this helps........
