What have you used on the base on the inside?
Noticed your using what looks like MDF, is there any preferance to this from melamine boards??
Does anyone know which is stronger and more durable etc.
Looking good mate

Hey,
I am using vinyl sheeting, AKA linoleum on the bottom, And I am going to put it on the side and back walls. I plan on puting fromica on the out side. Yes i am using MDF I personaly like it better then melamine, Just an opinion. They also dont carry melamine at my local home depot. I just really like MDF I used it on the last cage i built and was happy with it. Thanks

This should actually be posted to Sam...
MDF is cheaper than melamine but does not have the plasticized melamine coating. Due to the cost it's a nice material to use if you're going to laminate a durable laying onto the interior anyways.
You can laminate onto melamine, in fact it's probably a good idea since it's not the most durable material. This still gives you a somewhat finished look to the outside of the cage and the cage will be a hair lighter than one built from MDF. But it will be more expensive.
