Typical morning

aliceinwl Apr 20, 2005 12:01 AM

Here's a shot of my two chucks on a typical morning.

Gracie's up at dawn waiting for the lights to come on. Rigel usually doesn't emerge until his rock is nice and toasty (you can see his tail in the lower left corner). He usually makes up for it by staying up until the lights go off while Gracie retires in the late afternoon. So it works out, Gracie sees me off to work, and Rigel's up to greet me when I get home

I'm not sure how much longer Rigel's going to be able to fit under his rock. He used to be able to get himself completely under it. Now his tail always sticks out and half the time so does his rear

I love the striped tails when they're young like that. Where are they from? Nice rocks too...is that green a lighting artifact, or is the rock really green?

For some reson, the camera pics up the light from the MV bulb as green.

Gracie's from Mojave. I bought Rigel as a cb red back, so I have no idea on his origins.
