BTS good pet choice?

pdm Apr 20, 2005 07:46 AM

I am interested in getting a lizard. I had a bearded dragon & really liked him for his very docile personality. He never bit, wasn't skittish. Just a very easy going lizard.

I would like to try another type of lizard this time around and am
looking into the BTS. Do these make as good a pet as the beared dragon? Are they as docile & calm as the dragons are(as a general rule)?

Thanks,

Paul

If you get a northern or eastern blue tongue to start with you will likely get a very friendly lizard (they are the best species of blue tongue for beginners) and they're not usually as skittish as dragons and become really calm after a bit of handling. I highly recommend them!
