Yesterday I took my girl's eggs away...does anyone know how long before she should be ready to eat? She's so skinny I just don't want her health to get bad but at the same time I don't want to stress her out by bugging her to feed.
Thanks Mo.

What I do is leave the same bedding in the cage for a few days after I take the eggs, and then I completely clean out the cage, and try feeding. Usually about a week after laying, the snake will start eating again. Thats just my method, but it works great for me.

Thanks, I'll try that
I cleaned her house today and changed her hide box. Now she's acting very strange. I can tell she is very weak and "jolty" and she won't go in her hide box. I don't want her health to get bad. Does anyone think she is looking for her eggs, or is that just a stupid question? I feel bad taking them away from her. I'm sorry for the irrational questions but its may first batch of babies.

Mine sat with hers for a week and then got off of them. I took them to incubate, changed the cage all out clean and she immediately searched through the cage. I could say she could have been looking for her eggs. But she could just have been checking out the changes. Either way she was HUNGRY and ate a few hours later.
