First, it was great seeing all the lizard photos, and the baby news.
Sunday, my husband and I drove down to Las Vegas. That night we went hiking to a hot spring. The springs were full of gravel from a great deal of flash floods this past year. I was a little disappointed, but we did catch a lot of fat toads. The male toads continued croaking while held and were so cute. On the way back I caught my first lizard of the year. A gecko with lidded eyes and no sticky pads. Was pretty tame, but probably because of shock.
Monday, some rock climbing and hiking. Caught the little tree frogs and saw a lot of little side-blotched lizards (Uta stansburiana). The Uta had quite a deal of color variation.
Tuesday, came home late lizards were asleep.
Today, Annabella ate 2 superworms all by herself. I might have to order these instead of crickets. It's going to be cold this week, there's new snow on the ground. I don't think I'm going to have luck with grasshoppers and moths for our little lady.
