One of my blizzard offfspring from this year is getting very close to being able to be sexed today pulled a good one on me. It just shed last night and this morning when I was feeding them I noticed from his usuall bright white that he is now like a very faint yellow down eack side between the front and rear legs and where his tail meets the body he has one perfect black dot and below that 4 or 5 of the bumps on his tail base are a very intense orange not even close to being a carrottail but it sure shows up on him. Has anyone ever seen this in a blizzard??? The yellow on his sides is so faint you almost have to hold him just right in the light to see it, but the orange at the base of the tail is bright as any qaulity carrottail I have ever seen. Wish I had a good camera maybe I will borrow one and get some pics this is neat.
