Raleigh Show...

Conrad Apr 21, 2005 07:08 AM

Anyone going to come by and see what's happening at the show in a couple weeks (April 30-May 01). I'm sort of excited to see what kind of oddball spring stuff is floating around right now. I've been tracking stuff on a couple of different sites, so I'm hoping that there is some good stuff going to show up. If I don't see ya there, I'll be back with a report after the show as always...Take care.

Unfortunately, it falls right before finals week for me so I doubt I'll make it. I'd be interested to see what you find there.

Well if you find the time it would be nice to see you there. We rat snake and oddball guys need to make our voice heard! lol

If you do go Conrad, or Kevin, would be nice to to stop and say hi to some of my fellow forum posters. I did go to the Raleigh show last April.

Well, if you get there, I'll have a booth set up, so just look for me. I don't have a banner or anything yet, so look for the guy with the coolest stuff in there! Just kidding, I'll have some cool stuff with me though. Let me know your from the forum...

I'll be checking out my first show there. I have a coaching clinic on saturday but I plan to check it out afterwards. Should I go that night or wait until Sunday? Is there any reason one day is better than the rest?

Well, it's 6 of one, half dozen of the other. If you come on Saturday, you tend to get first pick of the good normal stuff. If you go Sunday, sometimes vendors pull out stock that they didn't display on Saturday...and you can get good prices either day, so that really doesn't play too much. Just on average, the best looking animals will be sold on Sat. from my experience in attending these shows.
