it's actually quite a bit brighter than the picture shows. there's more contrast actually. the dark grey is much darker than it appears. i have kind of a crappy camera and can't get a clear picture without flash. so i have to have the flash on, and zoom in as far as i can and keep a steady hand. this still flushes out some of the color. thanks for the compliment.

everytime i look at 2 of my males i realize how large the crests seem in comparison to all of my others. nothing to great about the pattern or color, but i can't wait to see if i can get longer crests in the babies.

another of the same male.

cool! i love the enlarged crests too. i have a yellow harlequin, i would guess would be the best way to describe her, with nice large crests, and i posted back a long time ago when i first got her that she actually has her elongated scales split into 2 rows, which makes her look that much more awesome. my big harly female also has a nicely exagerrated crest, but its not too noticeable, at least yet, in the 2 offspring ive hatched out so far. if i can find a nicely colored male with some real big crests like that at the reptile show in raleigh next weekend, ill more than likely scoop him up.

keep up the good work!
