That's a very pretty little Rhino! I'm wondering if that is a current photo since you say he's 2 years old. He seems kinda small to me. This is a photo of my Loofah at 2 years of age. Can you give some details on his caging, heat, and diet?

I'm currently the caretaker for 7 Rhinos. They are fed daily, sometimes twice daily, on collard, turnip, mustard, dandelion greens and chicory. Also butternut, acorn, and spaghetti squash, parsnips, sweet potato, and any other veggie we might have in the house. Fruit is reserved as a treat a couple of times per week. RepCal adult iguana pellets are used a few times a week. They also get cooked pasta or whole wheat bread as treats occasionally. I don't use supplements. I also don't feed any animal protein.

I'm pretty much sold on the ReptileUV MegaRay bulbs but I still use quite a few PowerSuns. My little ones graduate into bigger tanks up to 90 gallons as they grow, eventually being let to freeroam when they reach 2 years old.

Basking temps range from 95 to 105 degrees. Night temps drop to low 70's.

My daughter just corrected me. That photo was taken when Loofah was 15 months old, not 2 years. He grew like a demon. My other 2 younger ones, at 17 months of age, are not quite that large. I think they weigh about 1600 grams or so. I'll have to check that.

Hi, this photo is of my Diego last summer at about 9-10 months old. He is much bigger now. I will take some pics today and send one up. He is precisely 1.5 years old now.
