some places would call a 600 gram rat a "large" others might call it a "jumbo".. others "super jumbo"

I use the following "scale: to establish my rodent sizes..

Mice:

Pinky Mice (1.0-2.5 grams)

Small Fuzzy Mice (2.5-5.5 grams)

Medium Fuzzy Mice (5.5-6.5 grams)

Hopper Mice (6.5-10 grams)

Small/Medium Adult Mice (10-20 grams)

Large Adult Mice (20-40 grams)

Jumbo Mice (40 grams)

Rats:

Pinky Rats (3-8 grams)

Small Fuzzy Rats (8-15 grams)

Large Fuzzy Rats (15-30 grams)

Weanling Rats (30-50 grams)

Small Rats (50-100 grams)

Medium Rats (100-200 grams)

Large Adult Rats (200-300 grams)

Jumbo Rats (300-450 grams)

Super Jumbo Rats (450-800 grams)

best of luck,

dan
