Corn snakes

Does anyone know where i could find a wild red rat snake in north Alabama area or close?

Acually we have them, ive caught them before and had people bring them to me, and ive seen d.o.r specemins and they go as far as way past tennessee.

I live right at the northern end of corn snake range - they're supposed to sputter out just a few miles north of here in south Jersey.

A red rat snake is a corn snake and they get a lot farther north then Northern Alabama.
Why would you think they wouldn't be that far north whatsoever?

They go at least as far north as Virginia, so Alabama shouldn't be a problem. The northward extension of their range may just be along the east coast though, I'm not sure. I don't have a range map to reference, but if you can locate a field guide you should be able to see if they're anywhere near your area.
