Help with my turtle........!

dragomlover Apr 21, 2005 07:22 PM

Hello
I have an adult male red eared slider named Gerenal. I have owned General for about 10 years now. He has been living out side since he was 2 years old. I have noticed recently that he is acting kinda fun. He is sitting on his rocks a lot more and will keep his head under the water while his body is still totally on his rocks. He is very lazy and will let me pull out his legs and head(which he would never let me do normally) He also has gas or something. I hear funny noises coming from his stomach and he burps alot. I have been looking at many different illnesses but I can't find one that fits his. He eats pellets with calcium and lives out side with full sun light. He is eatting normally. He has no fungus or eye problems or worms in his poop(that ive seen). Does anybody have any idea what they think this is? I have had him for so long and would hate to loss this wonderful turtle. Please help me! Thank you.

You probably should take him to the vet. I could be an
intestinal obstruction. I wouldn't wait too long.
