I kept dwarf sirens years ago infact bought them from the clasifieds here from a guy that sold nothing but sirems all types.
I found them very very easy to keep. They lived for yrs at a temp of mid 70s ph was around 7.0 dont think that matters aslong as not to high.
I had 4 in a planted 40 gallon long tank they initially hid from the light among the plants but after awhile they were out with light to but seemed most active at night. I feed them black worms, blood worms and tubifex worms.
They were as easy as fish and lived for yrs. They got along fine to which I understand is not the same for the non dwarf sirens. I looked into the bigger types first and though much more active also read much bigger escape artists and no way you could keep two Esp in 40 gallon long tank.
The dwarf sirens were very easy. I got mine as adults they lived for yrs.
